Through GIFT's first partnership with UNDP, participants of the YLP had the unique opportunity to work in Aceh, Indonesia, to support a local economic development initiative, Aceh Partnerships for Economic Development (APED) as part of the post-tsunami rehabilitation and reconstruction programme of UNDP. The participants were tasked to develop a business plan that focused on structuring the supply chain of cocoa production that could potentially enhance the livelihoods of local farmers.
